Badshot Lea Saints (football team)

Badshot Lea Saints is a special needs football team that operates for boys and girls from age 4 to 17+. They are part of a thriving youth section of Badshot Lea FC, an FC charter standard community club.

They have players of all abilities who share one thing in common – the enjoyment of each other’s company whilst playing a friendly game of football. Based at Farnham (Surrey), in the UK, their current members include several pupils from the local special needs school, The Ridgeway, which my son attends, as well as mainstream schools in the area.

Sessions are usually split into two with training taking up the first part and a
game the second part (parents are often roped in to the games to make up numbers). A good time is had by all!

If your child is interested in participating and having some fun on a Saturday
morning from 10.30 to 11.30m, then come along to the ALL Weather Pitch at Farnham Heath End School (continuation of Monkton Lane, LHS off the Weybourne Road, Farnham – just before Cannons – heading in Weyborne Direction). The team meets during the Autumn and Spring terms.

Children do need to be accompanied by their parents or carers.
