Birdworld(including Jenny Wren farm and Underwater World) is situated 3 miles south of Farnham on the A325. It is well signposted from the M3, junction 4 and also easily accessible from the M25. As it is local to us we have taken the family on a number of occasions, from when our son was very young, and have always enjoyed it.

Birdworld has around 26 acres of aviaries and beautiful landscaped gardens to walk around. The environment is flat with level paths good for wheelchair/pushchair access. Prices are also reasonable when compared to theme parks such as Legoland but these things are all relative as a family ticket (2 adults plus 2 children) will still cost around £40. However, there’s no charge for under 3′s and 1 carer may come in for free with each disabled visitor.

There’s lots to see and do, including:

  • Penguin feeding
  • Heron Theatre
  • Safari RidesAnimal Handling on Jenny Wren Farm
  • Underwater World
  • Owl Prowl
  • Play Areas
  • Puddleducks Restaurant

At Christms time Birworld put on a great Santa’s Grotto which is also worth checking out.
