The Elite Academy Of Dance

One of the things my boy loves to do is dance. We’re all sick of “High School Musical” and “Joseph and His Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat” in our household. All of us that is, except for one person who can often be found dancing and singing along to the DVDs or CDs.

So it was with interest that I read an email I had received from Kelly Shults, Principal of The Elite Academy Of Dance, looking for information on how she might get in touch with the parents and carers of children with Downs Syndrome in her area to see if they might be interested in her Dance Academy in Ferndown, Dorset (she also has a branch in Corfe Castle Village, Dorset).

Kelly says, “The association who we are governed by, The British Theatre Dance Association, has worked hard over the last year to provide a specialised syllabus for Downs children. I would very much like to start integrating this within our Academy and would value your help in finding suitable students within our area.”

“Our school already strives to provide the best quality training for all children from all backgrounds; we have many lower income families and disadvantaged families, one parent families etc. and it only seems right to now start integrating lesser advantaged children into the fold, particularly as there is now a specialised syllabus to enable us to do this.”

The classes are available to anyone under 21 and cost from just £5. To find out more: Call Kelly on 07909 978886 or 01202 891956 or email:
